Inquiry Issue

I have 2 hard inquiries, about 3 days apart. They occurred as I was comparing home loans. I was told that all inquiries during a 14-45 day period would be considered as a single inquiry, especially home loans. It’s why I wasn’t worried about talking with multiple companies... Intuit even states this on the Turbo app.

How come I now have 2 hard inquiries? Why did Intuit and Turbo lie to me?
