I think my identity has been stolen

My van was broken into on a family road trip over night while we rested at a hotel. They stole my social security card and now im getting weird credit checks show up saying walmard airlines card and mastercard. What do I do? Is someone trying to get cards in my name?

I think my identity has been stolen

If your wallet or purse containing your Social Security Card is stolen, contact your local police department immediately to file a theft report. You should also contact SSA directly at 1-800-772-1213 to request a replacement Social Security Card.
