Credit cards for no credit

there are free websites that can advise you of what credit cards you may qualify for.  the purpose of having a credit card is to build a history of credit and timely payments.     you probably should look into a no annual fee card and plan to pay it off timely and in full each month.  doing this builds credit payment history which is 35% of FICO score and length of credit history which is 15% of credit score.  keeping  usage to less than 30% is recommended.   usage is 30% of FICO score.  as time goes on and you pay timely, it likely that the CC company will increase your credit line.

if you ever want or need to borrow say for a car or home and not have to pay a ridiculous rate of interest, there's no time like the present to start building you credit history.      even some landlords will look at your credit score before renting.
