Car payoff

Hello I just recently paid off my car. However, it’s still showing up on the debt section of my TurboTax. Is there anyway to delete that? Thank you.

Try getting your free credit reports from the site below.

It may take a cycle or two for the loan to appear as having been paid off.

It can take up to a month for the lender to update the credit bureaus, and then Turbo is updated every two weeks (I think), so it can be up to 6 weeks before Turbo will show the paid off status.  A paid off loan will remain on your credit file for at least 7 years, but it would show "paid/satisfied" or "paid on time", all of which is beneficial for your credit history.
