I did receive GI Bill help for the summer classes I took, but I do not know the exact amount. How do I figure this out?

You should be able to find that detail on the school's billing statements and/or the statements you get from the VA.

For most people it doesn't matter. They're both tax free benefits. So, it may depend on what you are trying to do.  For example, if you are trying to make some of the scholarship taxable to re-allocate tuition to the education credit.  You can't re-allocate veteran's benefits.
