What is a (college school EIN-1?) And were do I find it on the 1098-T? Why is Turbo Tax asking for my college student's (School EIN-1)? It is only asking for one of my college students and not the other? I filled out all questions for the college and entered the 1098-T information initially. Then at the final check it said it needs the school EIN-1??? The EIN-1 question was never asked initially and not asked for the other student???? Thanks Kelly

The school's EIN is found under the school name and address box on the 1098-T. It is titled Filer's federal identification number and is right above the student's name.

Where do find my daughter in law's EIN from here college loan?
On my 1098-T it says “FILER’s employer identification no.” Underneath the University name and address, is this the same thing?
