What about other types of education expenses, like trade schools, real estate courses?

What if I  pay for courses and travel to 8 hr classes?

As well as a lot of on-line study, to start a Real estate business?.

Education related to present line of work is deductible if it meets the ordinary and necessary requirements.

Exploring starting a new business is not currently deductible. If the business is started then this may be a start-up expense for that business.
