TTax form 1098 interest allocation

TTax form 1098 has the check box for Mortgage Use line 1a for Rental Activity. It only allows it to link to one Sched E where it places all of the interest on line 12a. My interest is split between two Shed E rental forms. I was able to get the correct numbers by doing an over ride on Sched E worksheet line 12a. Is there a proper way to divide it sort of like the Supporting Details form that can be used.

How you entered it is ok as long as it shows accurately.  You can simply manually enter the interest as if you did not receive a form 1098.
