My mom claims me, but I paid for my college tuition. I got a school tax form in the mail am I able to file this on my tax return or does my mother have to file it?

If your mother qualifies to claim you as a dependent, she will receive the tax benefit--even though you paid for your tuition. She will need the 1098-T for her return.
