My 1098 doesn't show the taxes paid, can I still claim them?

My 1098 doesn't show the property taxes paid for for the last couple months of the year after I refinanced.  Can I add those funds even though they aren't on the 1098?

You can deduct any taxes paid to the taxing authorities whether they are on the 1098 or not. If the mortgage holder paid them, you should confirm how much they paid and why they weren't entered on the 1098.
