I have a certificate for Student Loan Debt Relief and I have entered the amount for it on my tax return but I noticed that I am getting a $1,500 credit under taxpayer A & B for Quality Teacher Incentive Credit but I am not a teacher. How do I get rid of it?

I went through the program and entered the student loan debt relief under Income that Maryland handles differently. I see it showing on Form 502SU page 3, in the correct location.

It also shows on the 502, line 13 with the code from  502 SU.  Please review your entries and delete any forms that should not be in your return.

If you are using:

• Online: see How do I view and delete forms in TTO?
•  Desktop: If you are working in the cd/download TurboTax program:
  1. On the top right, there is a FORMS button. 
  2. Click on FORMS.
  3. Locate the form you want to delete.
  4. Click on the form name.
  5. Below the form, bottom left, select DELETE FORM button.
