Is a first year college student that took running start still counted as a first year college student?

I graduated high school with a transfer Associate degree from community college via running start (a dual credit program). Am I still a first year student?

Q. Am I still a first year student?

A. Yes, for the purposes of that question in TurboTax. It has no real purpose other than setting up the wording for the next question about how may times you've already claimed the AOTC.  If you (or your parents) did claim the AOTC in the past  (unusual), answer no.

Basically, it doesn't matter.
