I received a 1098-T for a college that I did not attend but did register for. So, I assume that I should not claim this amount for education.

I registered for a local college and signed up for, and paid for, a college class. But then my job hours changed, and they interfered with my upcoming class at this college, so I cancelled the class. However,  I cannot find any reimbursement for the course amount. Furthermore, I also received a 1098-T for the amount. Do I claim this on my taxes even though I did not attend this school? I assume that I should not.

As you didn't attend the course, you can't claim your education credits.

The 1098-T is only an informational document. The numbers on it are not required to be entered onto your tax return.
