I dropped my classes and paid in full and even received a t1098. Will it still show that I was enrolled half time even though I dropped the classes and paid for all of them, NEVER got a refund!!

Box 8 of your 1098-T will tell you.

Even if box 8 of your 1098-T does not indicate that you were half time, you will be give  a chance, in the TurboTax interview, to override it and claim the tuition credit based on your actual half time status.  Even though you dropped the classes, you are eligible for the credit if you paid the tuition and were enrolled half time, or more, no matter how briefly.
