I don't have a college savings account but Turbotax keeps asking for that information. I have student loans/grants and a CD. How can I bypass this option?

Just say no, if asked.

In TurboTax (TT), enter at:

Federal Taxes Tab (Personal for H&B version)

Deductions & Credits

-Scroll down to:

--Education)

  --ESA and 529 Qualified Tuition Programs (1099-Q)

At the screen "Tell us about your education plans", click no for the two questions on that page.
