No, you do not need to report your daughter's free tuition. Educational benefits administered by the VA for military veterans, spouses, and dependents are not included in taxable income.

I haven’t worked since 2009. I receive 100% VA disability, SSDI, and I work PT. My wife gets SSDI, and works PT. How should we file? Who should claim our 3 children?
