Do I have to include in my tax return the money that I received as a grant from Spain while on a student visa?

I received a flat rate every month as a grant/stipend from the Valencian government. I was on a student visa, not a work visa.

Although TurboTax doesn't support IRS Form 1040-NR (U.S. Nonresident Alien Income Tax Return), we have partnered with Sprintax to offer both federal and state tax preparation for international students, scholars, and nonresident foreign professionals.   Please visit the TurboTax/Sprintax site for more info.

An American citizen is required to report all his world wide income.  Scholarships (grants) that pay for qualified expenses (tuition, fees and course material are an eligible institution) are tax free. Grants/stipends paid for other purposes are taxable income.
