It depends on her age at the end of 2016.
If your daughter is under 24 at the end of 2016 and a full-time student, you can claim her as a dependent if you provided more than half of his support, regardless of her income. You can also claim her education expenses if applicable (on form 1098-T). She will file his own tax return and indicate that she is being claimed as a dependent in the Personal Info section of TurboTax.
She qualifies as a full-time student if she has been enrolled at least half-time during at least 5 months or part-months in 2016.
