Am I considered as student because I am from Bulgaria and I am student there, I was in USA last summer with J1 Visa?

To clarify, you want to know if your are exempt from the Substantial Presence Test because you are a student on a J1 visa.

As a J-1 visa holder, you are considered as a nonresident for the first two years since you entered the US ( 2020 and 2021). You will need to file a Form 1040NR reporting only U.S source income. TurboTax doesn't support Form 1040NR please use TurboTax's partner Sprintax.
