I'm using TurboTax Premier to do my taxes, and i have a question. My spouse attended graduate school in 2019 and received a 1098-T. But, when I try to enter the tuition information in the "Education" section of the "Deductions & Credits" tab, there is no box to enter data. Instead a $0 is already in place and grayed out such that I cannot change it. When I click the corresponding link, it states that, "Note: You entered this number in earlier."
I don't recall ever entering "0" for any tuition-related question up to this point and cannot find where I can change this data field. I don't know if this matters, but my spouse is also self-employed, and I already entered a bunch of data regarding self-employment income and deductions. I also entered information regarding eligibility for the two education credits (whose names I don't remember). But again, I don't believe I was previously asked about tuition payments.
Any help would be appreciated!
