TurboTax Business says I don't need to file K-1's for the estate. But when the 1041 is finished it shows in box B that 5 K-1's are attached????

TurboTax creates a K-1 for each beneficiary you enter, whether you make a distribution or not (if there are no distributions, the K-1(s) are just blank except for fiduciary/beneficiary information).

You can easily override the Box B figure in Forms Mode by simply clearing the number that appears (see screenshot).

Thank you for your response. Sorry I'm still confused. You see TTBusiness asks if I want to attach blank K-1's and I check "no" do not attach them as they are not needed. So the part of your answer requiring an override for box B doesn't  address why the program is ignoring the selection to not include them.
