Rejected 1099misc, need to file1099nec

The IRS rejected my efiled 1099-misc forms because I need to fill out 1099-nec forms instead.  Can I just efile the new forms, or do I need to follow a specific process to file replacement/corrected forms?

Rejected 1099misc, need to file1099nec

Yes - You can just e-file the 1099-NEC forms since the IRS rejected the e-filed 1099-misc forms.
