How to classify product purchased for a customer

I have a client who wanted me to purchase a laptop for them and set it up with software, etc. I purchased the laptop with my business credit card and then billed them for the cost of the laptop (with no markup) and the service I provided to set up the software.

The setup service is detailed in my taxes for income, but how do I classify the laptop expense in my taxes purchased since I show it as income from the invoice when I billed them?

Deduct as supplies; the  stuff that get used up in doing the work.
