Not sure how to claim

I have 83k W2 income from my job 

Paid about 15,500 in taxes 

I registered a llc because I will be in business next year and getting credit lines and equipment together (logistics / mechanic business )

I bought a semi truck for 6500

A service van for 2000

Some tools I needed for about $600

Laptop ECT that I'm gonna need

• Am I able to write these off ? And offset my W2 taxes

If you are not open for business, you cannot claim the expenses. You need to be open for business in order to deduct expenses (or claim depreciation deductions).
