We are an event and party planning/promotion business and we rent venues (e.g., bars, nightclubs) to hold dance parties. Under the terms of our contract with the venues, we're responsible for any damage to the property done by our guests. We had to pay for a damaged toilet last year at one of those locations. This is a necessary and ordinary expense for our type of business. Can I include the amount as an "Other Deduction" on Form 1065?
