I sold a portion of a partnership with a $0 proceed and $950 cost basis. The system recognizes a loss of 950 but Form 8949 shows both proceed and basis 0. Can you help?

My capital loss is limited without this loss so I expect I won't be able to take this loss. However, I expect the loss is shown in Form 8949 and Schedule D so that the it will flow to the loss carryover schedule. However, it is not shown up anywhere in the return so I am not sure how to report this $950 carryover loss next year. Thanks
