I havent filed in years do i need to file to receive stimulus help

I just do what ever i guess like a handy man servise dont make much mybe 6-8 k ...a year its saids i cant get stimulus help unless i filed for 2018 or 2019 i dont even know it i qualify

If you have handyman service income and you are not paid with a W2, you have a filing requirement and you likely owe tax, even if you make 6 or 8 thousand a year. 

You will need to file a return with Self Employment income unless you have a W2. If you file the return for 2019, you will likely qualify for the stimulus payment.
