Not unless you are a co-signer of the mortgage. To deduct any expense you must be legally obligated to pay it. If you did not sign the mortgage you are not legally obligated to pay it and you can not deduct the interest.

Not unless you are a co-signer of the mortgage. To deduct any expense you must be legally obligated to pay it. If you did not sign the mortgage you are not legally obligated to pay it and you can not deduct the interest.
