I have a limited partnership. I need to also complete my own taxes. Do I need to purchase the deluxe turbo tax and the business one? Do they talk to each other?

Yes, you will need to file the partnership return in TurboTax Business and TurboTax Premium for your personal return. On your personal return you will have to manually enter your Schedule K-1 as the programs do not talk to each other.
