I need to adjust my interest income for a reason that is not specified under adjustments. I was recommended to simply state the reason "This is my reason" as a separate entry under Part I - Interest Income of Schedule B with the negative amount to the right of it under amount. Unfortunately, it seems that I am not able to modify Schedule B like this in forms mode, and I am also not able to create a fake 1099-INT Worksheet for the bank with a negative interest amount (TurboTax gives me an error in forms mode). Is there any way to do this other than using the "Other Adjustment" option in TurboTax? If so, is there any way to add a description to the "Other Adjustment" option?
Thank you!
