Home Office Deduction and stand by generators

We've been running a small business out of our home on which we are dependent on power and the internet.  If I purchase and have installed a whole house generator, can i factor that cost into the Home Office Deducion? And if so how much?

Home Office Deduction and stand by generators

As long as you have a dedicated area of your home that is used solely and exclusively for business, you can factor in that percentage and deduct that cost as part of your home office deduction.  Please see this link for more details on the home office deduction.
