Do I need to report self-employed income under $400?

I did some administrative work for my friends LLC last year and made less than $400. I already filed my taxes, but I forgot to include that income. Do I need to amend my taxes and report that income? How?

Hi

The short answer is yes, you need to report the income.

Now, since you have all ready filed your return, you will need to file a Form 1040X, Amended return to report the income.

DO NOT file the Form 1040X, until your first Form 1040 is fully processed.  Filing it before the first return is processed will only create problems.
