I own a restaurant and drew no income this year. However, I added personal funds to cover expenses. How do I indicate these investments / losses in Turbo Tax?

There is no tax event when you contribute money to your own business, but your equity in the business is increased. The expenses from the business are deducted, but depending on your business structure, you cannot claim a loss greater than your basis/contributions.
