You have until April 15, 2019 to pay your 2018 balance due. If you do not pay it and your 2017 tax return is processed after that date, then yes, they will take the 2017 refund to pay the 2018 balance due.

If I was supposed to recieve my tax return on 3/11/2024 and i have still not received it and I’ve contacted the IRS and they cannot help, what do I do?
