Will my taxes get paid by the deadline?

I just filed my taxes this Friday night (April 12), but needed to pay my federal taxes with a credit card due to my current situation. My card was charged, but will the IRS receive the money by the deadline? I assume since I paid via credit card, even if the charge is still pending after the 15th, because I filed before the 15th, I'll receive no penalty?

The date of the payment will be the date on your credit card. 

According to the IRS:

"It's convenient — file early and make a payment by debit/credit card later. The payment date will be the date the charge is authorized."
