Will I receive my premium tax credit refund with my tax return?

I added my 1095-A to my turbotax account when filing my 2022 taxes, and I should be receiving a refund since I did not use all of the credit over the year. The amount shown on my refund did not increase, however. Will this refund be sent a different way?

yes any credit for PTC refund will be included.

It isn’t showing up in either the federal or state refunds on my TurboTax account.

No, you will not receive the premium tax credit separately. It is included in your tax refund.

Please look at Schedule 3 form 1040. Your premium tax credit should appear in Part II Line 9 of Schedule 3 of form 1040 (net premium tax credit).
