Why are my Georgia state taxes taking so long to return

The state of Georgia started processing 2018 individual income tax returns on February 1, 2019, and they state it may take more than 90 days from the date of receipt by the Department of Revenue (DOR) to process a return and issue a refund. https://bit.ly/2D61G5k
