Where do you send proof of birth to amend taxes from previous year

I can not find letter from irs, where do I send birth certificate along with child care proof my son is mine?

@freebirdcdwc , if you have lost the letter from the IRS and cannot be found, you have two options:

(a) go to local IRS office and ask for help , including all the documents that IRS would have needed to confirm your claim to child credit / additional credit etc.

(b) I am not certain but I thin you could go on-line  at --- >

Online account for individuals | Internal Revenue Service (irs.gov)

and be able to see all your interactions with the IRS.  This is what the IRS office would pull up  to answer your queries.
