I have had my taxes and another payment taken out of my bank account but have not received my returns.

Were the taxes taken out by the federal or the state government?

If taxes were taken out that means you owed taxes and are not getting a refund from whichever tax authority took out the taxes. If you filed both federal and state returns, you must look at each tax return to see whether you owed taxes or are getting a refund.
