When filing my return, I found out my son cannot be claimed as a dependent anymore. How does he amend his return to reflect he cannot be claimed as a dependent?

If he has already filed and his return was Accepted, he should wait until he receives his Refund before Amending his return. It can take several weeks for an amended return to be processed.

He indicates in the MY INFO section that NO, he is not being claimed as a dependent by another person.
