Hi Everyone,
A previous employer filed a revised W2 with the state of NJ (from FY 2021) earlier this year. As a result, my tax amount was a bit higher than what I paid for that fiscal year. I paid NJ to stop the compounding interest and to stop NJ from bothering me with repeated letters and calls. I then checked ADP for a revised W2 and one was not present. I also contacted HR at that previous employer, asking for that revised W2, and no one responded.
At the Federal level, I know that Form 4852 can be used to contest such issues with previous employers. And, I'm going to use that form to do exactly this. But, at the NJ state level, I have yet to find an equivalent form. Does anyone know if such a form exists for the state of New Jersey, and where I can find that form?
Thanks,
