What is the longest you waited for your federal refund? Its been a month since my was accepted & I still haven’t gotten it back

There are a number of things that can delay processing at the IRS or requires additional review.  Is there any message at the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool?   Sometimes they need more info, or may be in the process of sending a letter for more info.

Yes, I requested a letter last week. It’s just odd, I’ve never waited this long before. It says accepted, just waiting.
