A direct deposit can take 24-48 hours to hit a bank account. If you have not received your deposit by then, you should check with your bank. In addition, if your deposit is rejected for the name on the account not matching or the account numbers being wrong, the IRS will mail you a check. The IRS website and refund status should update for this.
