It is taking the IRS allot longer to process mailed in returns. You will need to keep checking the IRS website Where's My Refund for an update.  The following is from the IRS.

 

We're open and processing mail, tax returns, payments, refunds and correspondence. However, COVID-19 continues to cause delays in some of our services. Our service delays include:

  • Live phone support
  • Processing tax returns filed on paper
  • Answering mail from taxpayers
  • Reviewing tax returns, even for returns filed electronically

No one here or TurboTax would know if the IRS received your mailed in tax return.  If you have a tracking number with your mailed in return, then once the IRS receive your mailed in return, it will show on their website.  

 

How long to wait?  Well mailing in another return will surely delay the processing of your return.  The IRS is backed up and they are the only ones that know about the processing of your return.
