The irs website said my money would be deposited on the 31st. How come I have received my tax refund?

 My direct deposit date is today as well, and I have yet to receive my funds either. It is my experience in past years that I have gotten it late morning to early afternoon, it is 1:10 PM Eastern standard time where I am, but it has not yet been deposited in my account. I do know some people get it late in the afternoon or evening. We are not alone, I have seen other threads  from people with today’s date for a direct deposit wondering the same thing. If and when I get my deposit I will update here. Likewise, if there is no movement by this evening I will give an update.
