If you chose to pay your TurboTax fees out of your Federal refund, your funds will first go from the IRS to a temporary account at an intermediary bank--either Civista Bank of Sandusky, Ohio, or Green Dot Bank.  At the intermediary bank the fees are subtracted, then the rest of your funds are sent on to your bank (or prepaid debit card) in a second deposit.  The company that handles that is SBTPG (Santa Barbara Tax Products Group.)

Less commonly there can be delays at the intermediary bank, and additional ID info, etc. might be required.

If for any reason the second deposit fails (the one that is actually to your bank or card), it will bounce back to SBTPG's bank who will issue you a paper check in the mail.

Once the IRS has released your funds, you can log in to your temporary account at SBTPG to see the status of your funds.

To log in, choose the taxpayer portal at:
https://www.sbtpg.com/

SBTPG has a phone contact page at the following link.   Even when they are closed, you may be able to get automated info, or you can log in as above.

Did you have any TurboTAx fees that you chose to pay out of the Federal refund?   If so, it goes first to an intermediary bank where the fees are subtracted.  Then that intermediary bank later sends the funds on to your card.  If you DID use that method, then we can tell you how to monitor it at the intermediary company.

I did, thank you. Can you estimate how long does the process usually takes through the intermediary bank?

No, I can't.  The time at the intermediary bank can vary depending on whether there are any problems or not.  See the info I left below on how to monitor it.

I’m having the same issue. Can you give an estimate? I’m not looking for an exact day just a approximate. It’s been over a week since it said it had deposited

No one can know anything about a deposit day.  There are too many variables, and in this user community forum, we don't know where your funds are and what stage of the process.   Even the IRS doesn't know the actual deposit day. The IRS FAQ page says once they release the funds to allow up to 5 days due to variations in bank procedures and processing times.

Has the IRS aleady released your funds?  You can check here:

So, if the IRS has released your funds, and if you paid any fees out of the refund, what did you find out at SBTPG when you logged in there or phoned?

If SBTPG has subtracted the fees and sent the funds on to your card, then you can check with your card's customer service.   Did you use a new Turbo Prepaid Visa Card or a different pre-existing prepaid card?
