Smart check - Question regarding 12a(1) & 12a(2) in Form 1116 - Foreign Tax Credit Comp Wks

TurboTax Customer Service Team,

I earned foreign incomes in 2023 and almost completed my Fed tax return. However, when I performed a smart check, the system asked my fill number in lines 12a(1) & 12a(2) in Form 1116 - Foreign Tax Credit Comp Wks.

12 Reduction in foreign taxes

      a   (1) Current year foreign earned income excluded less related deductions _______

-          (2) Total foreign earned income (FEI) less related deduction                         ________

Indeed, the entire sections 12 through 16 are empty this year. In the past, this form was automatically calculated by TurboTax. I certainly don't want to put anything there based on my limited understand on how you derive the numbers for each line and do it manually. Do you have a solution?
