I assume you mean that your son receives Social Security benefits, not SSI. SSI is Supplemental Security Income. You do not get a 1099 for SSI.
You should amend your tax returns for 2018, 2019, and 2020 to remove your son's Social Security benefits. It's too late to amend 2017 or earlier.
Your son's Social Security benefits have to be reported on his tax return, not on yours. But if the Social Security is his only income, he is not required to file a tax return.
