Your refund has been applied to a past due obligation such as child support, another federal agency debt, or state income tax.

Refund applied to past due obligation but do(should) not have any

You'll get an explanatory letter from the Bureau of the Fiscal Service if your refund is offset.

You'll get an explanatory letter from the Bureau of the Fiscal Service if your refund is offset.

Thanks for response. I will await the letter but do not know of any money I owe.
