The head of household status is reserved for single individuals or individuals who live apart from their spouse for the last half of the year. If you filed as head of household but incorrectly indicated that you were married, you may need to amend your tax return to correct that. You will see an option for that on your home page after you log into TurboTax. The option may not be available this early in the tax filing season, but it should be available soon.
